Feeling too lazy to have to bend down to do up your shoe laces with your next pair of black trainers? Well thanks to these Duffs The Dude shoes you’re not going to have to, because this funky little number can be slipped on just like a slipper, with the added benefit that it’s at least 4000 times as cool.

Designed out of a black canvas fabric, the upper of this shoe comes complete with some rather cool artwork by a artist you might just recognise the name of - Ruse Hope - a super cool skateboard artist who has a great free flowing style to his art that is made up of bold brush strokes and simple lines, something which is definitely seen in this piece that features an array of white finger like curves with simple face detailing to the centre.

And Duff have been very clever at making sure this white line detailing doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb by not only adding a simple white line as edging to the top edge of the side of the sole, but also switching the colour of it from black to the front of the shoe, to white from halfway down the shoe .

Finished off with a vulcanised outsole that’ll last you for years, this shoe also comes with compression moulded PU insoles to make sure that those of you wearing them for skateboarding are going to feel as little impact on your bones as possible.

Liking the style of these Duffs the Dude trainers and fancy a pair for yourself? Now’s definitely the time to buy as they’re currently reduced by 50% to £17.50 (original price £35.00) at Extreme Pie

Just been checking out the new Urbantrack Browser Sketcher trainers that have just hit the virtual shelves over at Cloggs, and I don’t know what you think (though I’d love to know in the comments below), but I’m pretty darn impressed with this rather masculine feeling bit of design.

Styled with leather uppers, this is a mans shoe through and through, and definitely has a modern solid and formal look to it than you’d expect from your average Skechers, something I attribute to some very clever choices concerning the leather uppers.

Made up with a light tan brown suede as the base of this shoe immediately gives this shoe depth and masculinity.

Add on the darker tan leather layers that runs all the way along the bottom edge of the shoe, before being overlapped at the top end by a thicker strip, that travels up to the end of the shoe lace area, where itself is overlapped by another layer which runs up from the centre of the toe, along the top edge of the shoe, and around the padded collar, and you have a shoe that is becoming more formal, and less trainer by the minute.

However it’s not done there. Finished off with an even darker brown strip that curves from the front half of the shoe to just before the heel, with two stripes of a dark grey brown and yellowy brown diagonally crossing it to the mid and front of the curve, this is a shoe that sounds overly designed, but as you can see from the shoe itself is anything but.

Designed with black grip soles that feature a green lime colour running through the centre, and a brown mid section with the word Skechers embedded into it, this is a great shoe for all your urban fashion conscious guys out there, with the only negative for me being those beige laces, which I’d immediately whip out and replace with something a whole lot darker.

The new Skechers Urban Browser trainer is availble in sizes 6 to 12 at Cloggs.

Search no further for a cool casual style with the Skechers Urbantrack Browser shoe. Suede and leather upper in a lace up casual trainer with stitching and overlay accents.

* Rubber Grip Soles
* Padded Collar and Tongue

Think of the Golddigga brand and it’s most likely you think of big bold colours that stand out and grab you, so this Golddigga trainer with it’s really quite subtle colouring and design is likely to come as something of a surprise.

However don’t take this to mean that it’s a shoe that’s not worth bothering with, because I would definitely disagree, with the simple nature of this shoe actually makes it something that’s a whole easier to wear than a very bright colour scheme that effectively only goes with one or two things in your wardrobe.

So let’s take a closer look at the design of the shoe. At it’s most basic, this is a white baseball boot designed to finish around ankle height. However keeping it like that isn’t very Golddigga, it’s going to need a bit of bling and a bit of femininity. How have Golddigga achieved this? Well actually very simply, using just one colour - Silver.

And you have to be impressed by the way they’ve done it, because instead of just applying great blocks of silver colouring, these guys have instead used it in three very different ways - the first is with tiny silver stars that cover the side of the shoe. Then there’s the edging to the top side of the shoe and lace area that’s been designed in a thick silver colour, with the final touch being the thin line around the outsole of the shoe and the word Golddigga on the tongue.

Tie this all up (pardon the pun) with a pair of dark Silver laces and you’ve got a shoe that’s going to look great with jeans.

The Golddigga Pyrite Stars Baseball Boot can be ordered online from the Golddigga store at Amazon.

It’s not often you can say that a walking shoe is stylish, but in the case ofd this Karrimor Peak trainer it’s a title that is definitely deserved, as this has to be one of the sexiest (I can’t believe I’m calling a walking shoe sexy) that I think I’ve ever seen.

The cool thing about this shoe though is that the design is effectively an afterthought, because this is a shoe has been designed not as a fashion shoe, but one that can live up to the challenge of rocky terrain that our hills and mountains can throw at it.

And that is something it definitely manages with the lightweight mesh panels making it wonderfully breatheable, keeping your feet cool hour after hour of walking, whilst the hardwearing rubber outsole of the shoe should help make it a far less bump experience.

Add to this that the tongue and padded collar have both been padded for additional comfort and you’ve got a shoe that is not only going to support and protect you, but also be as comfy as pulling on a slipper.

Oh, and lets not forget about that sexy design! Made up of a black mesh with a black synthetic upper that runs around the toe and bottom edge of the shoe, shoots up the centre of the toe section to the bottom of the laces, and runs from the lace edge to the bottom of the side of the shoe in four downward blocks, this shoe is given a nice bright finishing touch via simple yellow line detailing to the outer edge of the sole, as well as down two central strips on the side of the shoe and along the top of the tongue.

There is one downside to this shoe though, and that’s that it isn’t easy to get. Why? Because Sports Direct have gone and cut their price from £59.99 to £19.99!

So my advice would be if you want to get your walking feet into one of the most stylish pairs of walking shoes out there, you’re going to need to visit their online store sharpish!

The Karrimor Peak can be ordered for £15 at the Sports Direct store on Amazon.

So darn gorgeously cute are these Double Tongue Orchid Kids trainers from the Converse All Stars range you’ll be wishing you could get your foot into them yourself, but sadly unless you fit into a size 10 - 1 in kids shoes you’re really going to have to make do with eyeing them up on your kid instead.

And there’s a whole lot to eye up and love. Firstly the Lilac Purple canvas upper is to die for, looking wonderfully fresh and girly, and only further enhanced by the rainbow detailing to the back heel, and then there’s the not one, but two tongues, the first being made up of a turquoise colour with a white central section featuring the words “All Star” outlined in black, whilst the second is a far more colourful number featuring lilac stitching around the edge of the black fabric with a chalk style turquoise smiley face and a pink, yellow and orange scribble style design next to it.

The toe box of the shoe as well as the outer sole is all designed in white, with a black edging to the top of the sole, and a more faded line repeated halfway down but this time stopping at the toe area. The sole is an all black number made up of diamond shapes to the heel and forefront of the shoe with a flatter dashed pattern to the midsection of the shoe.

The Converse All Star Junior Double Tongue Orchid trainer is available for £24.99 at Cloggs.

If you like your trainers bright and girly then you’re definitely going to want to hop across the pond (or at least get someone you know over there) to buy Anna Finley’s Nike Air Max Zenyth trainer.

Chosen as one of the best young designers who took part in the Nike Doernbecher Freestyle VI project, Anna’s take on the Air Max Zenyth is a gorgeously bright and vibrant number that sures she’s a girl that is full of energy and love for the world,

Using two main colours for the upper of the shoe - a pink and a gold, this is a trainer that will definitely jump out at you off the shelf, and is covered in fun little design details, including hand drawn illustration and words of inspiration to the side of the shoe, multi-coloured laces, a pink tongue with microphone and heart design and a wonderful yellowy green outer sole.

Perhaps the most subtle thig about the shoe is the metallic gold Nike Swoosh that’s sewn onto the side of the shoe, with the inner lining definitely not being having been lined with a fake pink fur.

And if you wondered how Anna is associated with the Doernbecher Childrens Hospital, well that’s because she has Atypical HUS (Hemolytic remic Syndrome), a genetic problem due to an irregularity in several suspect genes, and a syndrome that seriously needs more research and focus on to try and help those who suffer from it make the most of their lives.

Fancy helping the Doernbecher Children Hospital and get yourself a extra special sneaker in the process? Well now you can as these shoes are on sale across the US as well as online.

Spotted at Freshnessmag.

After some black trainers that’s looks tough and rugged, but at the same time pretty darn gorgeous too? The Matthew 45 RPM from the Macbeth trainers range are bang on the money with their low profile, dark styling with some pretty cool bits of design detailing definitely making them something more than average black trainer.

Given the name the Macbeth Matthew after Macbeth’s founder, this is a shoe that has had it’s low profile vulcanised look inspired by Tom’s need to be able to feel his guitar pedals when he’s creating a musical storm with his guitar in hand, but that’s not the only thing that has inspired it.

Designed in conjunction with a certain Mike Dirnt of Green Day, this is a shoe that has definitely got something of a punk feel about it, but has so in a way that will make sure the stylish amongst us recognise it, whilst those who wouldn’t know style if it bit them on the bum aren’t going to think you’ve gone completely loopy wearing them.

So how is this balance achieved? Well that’s down to some rather clever fabric choices, and some tasty bits of design detailing.

In terms of fabric choices, this Macbeth trainer is made to stand out from your normal shoe by using not one but two different forms of black material. The first, which makes up the main side section, heel and tongue of the shoe is a relaxed canvas, whilst the second, used on the bottom edge of the shoe as well as to the toe cap is a much more refine black patent leather. Add the two together and you have a very unique look that shouldn’t work, but most definitely does.

Add to this the use of gold detailing in the form of the word Macbeth to the black sole of the shoe, the black and gold tag to the inner side of the shoe, and in a tarnished colour to the studded hooks that replace the shoelace hooks and you’ve got a pretty stylish looking shoe.

And it’s one that’s pretty darn well made too, with the insole of the shoe made from a dual density EVA that’s been designed to be both comfy and made to last, whilst the outsole is a gum rubber that looks great and isn’t going to fall apart within a week of buying it.

The Macbeth Matthew 45 RPM trainer is available to buy online for £54.99 at Hardcloud.

The main trainer focus on this website is with casual fashion trainers, but this Reebok Premier DMX Trinity KFS Running Shoe is so darn stunning to look at and clever in it’s technology that I couldn’t ignore it, so be prepared for this to be a little more indepth than our normal reviews.

Designed predominantly for those of you who pronate (roll your foot in) when you run, this mens running shoe not only looks good with it’s white nylon mesh upper with black detailing to the toe, heel and along the lace inserts but also comes with a huge amount of features designed to give you feet the cushioning and support they need when running and includes:

A Multiple Kinetic Fit System that features expansion zones in the upper of the shoe to allow it to accommodate the natural movement of your foot whilst also making sure it doesn’t compromise on fit.

The use of Nylon Mesh Uppers With PlayDry Lining that will support your feet whilst also making they are kept cool thanks to the breathability of the mesh and the moisture management characteristics of the PlayDry lining

ADMX midsole in the forefoot to give you improved cushioning, which in turn offers you a more comfortable feel

The addition of a Dual Density Medial Post to correct your pronating with the removable sock liner accommodating any additional orthotics you may need

The Transition Bridge helps to maintain mid foot integrity from the heel to the toe making sure you’re always being held in the right position

The use of Scotchlite 3M fabric on the side of the shoe to make sure even if cars can’t see you at night they’ll be able to see your feet.

It’s a pretty impressive list of features for a shoe that just on looks is sure to win many of you over, and is definitely one that’s not going to break the bank to buy, currently reduced from £84.99 to £49.99 at Sportsshoes.

All prices correct at the time of writing but subject to change at any time

Umbro have just released their new Speciali football trainer and to celebrate have launched a competition to allow you to customise the base of your shoe, with judges John Terry, Michael Owen, Gael Clichy, visual artist Stuart Semple, head of the design section of Umbro footwear and a great from the design world picking 11 to be made for the designers to keep. On top of this, John Terry, Michael Owen and Gael Clichy will each choose a design that you will see them wearing in an upcoming match.

Sounds like a cool idea doesn’t it, and the designs so far are pretty darn amazing, but is the shoe really as hot as everyone is making out? Well from what I’ve seen I’d have to say I think it is, because on top of being a great looking shoe with it’s simple white mesh upper and red Umbro logo to the side of the shoe, this is also one that is packed full of features which include:

Fast Flex Grooves To The Outsole that will give you greater flexibility in the toe of the shoe to more precisely angle your passes

Secured Flip Tongue that turns the upper of your shoe into a flatter striking surface making your feet more responsive which could be crucial in the dying moments of a game when the ball comes your way

A Frame To the Side Of The Shoe helps hold your heel into position so that you’re not going to be sprinting your way out of your shoe when you need to make a quick change in direction

Duprone Urethane Insole that makes sure that after you’ve cleared the corner with a header your foot is going to softly hit the ground

External Heel Counter Moulded Collar makes sure that the base of your heel is supported giving you better balance and in turn responses.

Mesh Uppers not only give the shoe a lighter feel but also make it more breatheable, something you’re definitely going to want being on the pitch for 90 minutes

High density memory foam within the shoe makes sure that your foot is kept in the right position for you even after that unintentional sliding tackle

Lightweight Precision Studs made from aircraft grade aluminium makes it super easy to get your feet off the ground and making them shoot that’s going be replayed time and time again.

New Improved Insole Board that offers not only strength but also support and torsional rigidity to keep your feet strong

Pretty impressive list don’t you think? And just think how cool they’re going to look with designs like this on the base:
